Jerome and Margaret Cunningham

Jerome and Margaret Cunningham make a point of helping their community through volunteer efforts, donations to a variety of causes, and being aware of community issues. They also plan on making a difference through a planned gift to The Columbus Foundation. By establishing the Jerome and Margaret Cunningham Charitable Trust Fund, the Cunningham’s hope to help address future issues and needs that may arise in the community. Still in their early 60s, Mr. and Mrs. Cunningham began thinking about the need for a will, should something happen to both of them. While making their preparations, they decided to create a fund that The
Columbus Foundation can use to address
community needs as they arise.

“We know The Columbus Foundation identifies with the community and will help us give to organizations we don’t know about,” Mr. Cunningham said. “Future years might present problems that are totally unappreciated at this moment. Ten years from now, who knows? We like that The Columbus Foundation isn’t afraid to actively seek out and fund new ideas, even adventures,” he added. “And, The Columbus Foundation will be here long after we are gone, supporting organizations that are making a difference.”
