Martha and her husband, Chuck, established their unrestricted fund to the Foundation in 1975. The late, Mr. Wheeler, a retired insurance agent, and Martha, are long time friends of the Foundation and very active in the community. In order to support the community in perpetuity, they have named their fund at The Columbus Foundation as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Also, Martha has set up a Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA) which will pay an annuity to Martha for the remainder of her life. At her death, the remaining assets in the CGA will pass to their fund to continue their support of the community in perpetuity.
