Greatest Needs Fund

The Greatest Needs Fund is a personalized fund you create to impact our community for generations to come. You can use cash, stock, or other assets gifted during your lifetime or at death to establish a named fund, qualify for an immediate income or estate tax deduction and the Foundation will disperse grants that address our community’s most pressing need.

The funds are distributed through Giving Strength, our competitive grantmaking process, where local nonprofits submit proposals for projects and request funding. The Foundation thoroughly assesses and evaluates the nonprofits and programs to determine need and capacity of the program before distributing funds.

Consider a Greatest Needs Fund if you:

Want to leave a legacy of thoughtful giving through your endowment
Seek to support the changing needs in the community or your broad area of interest over time
Seek to make the greatest impact possible with your charitable dollars
