Nonprofit PowerPhilanthropy Portrait

PowerPhilanthropy allows you to create a detailed “portrait” of your nonprofit organization—
an overview of your programs, financial data, and management information.

More than 500 central Ohio nonprofit organizations have completed a portrait. By participating, you'll enrich the community's knowledge of your organization and the nonprofit sector, and encourage effective philanthropy in central Ohio.

PowerPhilanthropy (P2) holds both immediate and long-term benefits for your organization:

  • P2 streamlines the grant application process.
  • P2 is a unique communications vehicle, creating dialogue with current and potential donors.
  • P2 increases opportunities to receive contributions from Foundation donors and the public.
  • P2 is a unique self-assessment tool for analyzing your agency’s strengths and challenges.
  • P2  is a database of accurate and comparable information that Foundation staff can use to analyze trends and address emerging needs in the nonprofit sector.

A complete and up-to-date portrait in PowerPhilanthropy is required for all nonprofit organizations submitting competitive grant applications to The Columbus Foundation.
