How to Disable Popup Blockers

If you are unable to login to PowerPhilanthropy and you are sure that you entered the correct username and password, then your browser options may be set to block popups. Here are instructions on how to enable popups for this site.

Internet Explorer 6.0 and Above

• Click Tools in your browser tool bar at the top of the screen.
  
• In the drop-down list that appears, click Popup Blocker.
  
• Click Popup Blocker Settings.
  
• Type “columbusfoundation.org” into the "Address of website to allow" input field. It is very important that you do not add the “www” in front of "columbusfoundation.org.” 
• Type “www.edonorcentral.com” into the "Address of website to allow" input field.
• Type “www.powerphilanthropy.org” into the "Address of website to allow" input field.
  
• Click Add.
  
• Click Close.

Firefox for Windows 1.0 and Above

• Click Tools in your browser tool bar at the top of the screen.
  
• Click Options in the drop-down list that appears.
  
• In the Options box, click Web Features.
  
• Click the Allowed Sites button located to the right of Block pop-up, Windows.
  
• Enter “columbusfoundation.org” into the "Address of website" field. It is very important that you do not put “www” in front of “columbusfoundation.org.” The browser setting will not function correctly if you include the “www.”
• Enter “www.edonorcentral.com” into the "Address of web site" field.
• Enter “www.powerphilanthropy.org” into the "Address of web site" field.
  
• Click Allow.
  
• Click OK.
  
• Then click OK once more.

Firefox for Mac

• Under the Firefox menu select Preferences which will open the Preferences dialog box.
• Click the content button.
• Click the Exceptions button and enter "columbusfoundation.org" then click Allow.
• Click the Exceptions button and enter "www.edonorcentral.com" then click allow.
• Click the Exceptions button and enter www.powerphilanthropy.org" then click allow.

Safari

• Press the shift key, the Apple key (located beside the Space Bar), and the “K” key at the same time. This turns the popup blocker off or on depending upon the current state.

Netscape 7.2 and Above

• Click Tools in your browser tool bar at the top of the screen.
  
• Click Popup Manager in the drop-down list that appears.
  
• Click Manage Popups in the next drop-down list that appears.
  
• Type “columbusfoundation.org” into the Allow popups from the following web sites field. It is very important that you do not put “www” in front of "columbusfoundation.org.” The browser setting will not function correctly if you include the “www.”
• Type “www.edonorcentral.com” into the Allow popups from the following web sites field.
• Type “www.powerphilanthropy.org” into the Allow pop-ups from the following web sites field.
  
• Click Add.
  
• Click OK.

Google Toolbar

For Toolbar 5:

• Visit the site and click the Popup Blocker button.
  
• The button's icon will change to popups allowed to indicate that the Popup Blocker is Disabled.
•  If you'd like, you can click the arrow beside this button and select Show Blocked Popups to see what is currently blocked.

For earlier versions of the Toolbar:

• Visit the site and click the Popup Blocker button.
• The button text changes to read Popups Okay, indicating that the pop-up blocker has been disabled on that site.

Yahoo Toolbar

• Click the Popup Blocker menu.
