THE COLUMBUS FOUNDATION OFFERS AN ADDITIONAL
$75,000 IN MATCHING DOLLARS FOR POWERPHILANTHROPY
MATCH DAY ON MARCH 6 
 

Columbus, OH (March 5, 2008)—Today The Columbus Foundation Governing Committee authorized an additional $75,000 in funds to be used for PowerPhilanthropy Match Day on March 6, bringing the total number of matching dollars available for gifts and grants by donors and the public to $250,000.

  • The Foundation will match credit card gifts to PowerPhilanthropy organizations at 50 cents to the dollar, up to $125,000.
  • The Foundation will match online grants suggestions from Columbus Foundation donor advised funds and supporting foundations to PowerPhilanthropy organizations dollar for dollar, up to $125,000.
  • The minimum contribution is $20 and the maximum donation permitted per individual or per fund is $1,000.
  • Donations are completed at the time of receipt. Donations are irrevocable, regardless of whether match funds are still available. The Columbus Foundation will post a message at www.columbusfoundation.org, when matching funds are exhausted.
