More Than $1.1 Million Raised During The Columbus Foundation's #GivingTuesday Promotion

COLUMBUS, OH (November 29, 2018) — 545 nonprofit organizations across ten counties in central Ohio benefited from the generosity of donors on #GivingTuesday during The Columbus Foundation’s “Give Two on #GivingTuesday” promotion.

Through the promotion, donors who gave to two or more nonprofits in the Foundation’s Giving Store received a $20 Charitable Gift Card in return for their generosity. A total of $1,119,848 was raised, the majority of which went to nonprofit organizations in central Ohio.

“The impressive generosity our community has shown for #GivingTuesday demonstrates the appreciation we have for the hard and often thankless work done by our area nonprofits. We are pleased to offer Charitable Gift Cards as tokens of our gratitude to those who make giving back a priority.”
