Summer Essentials at Camp Hamwi

Camp Hamwi provides kids with diabetes all the adventures of summer camp in a supportive environment. Thanks to your generosity, a new storage solution, filled with everything from balls to art supplies, is being permanently installed at camp!
Central Ohio Diabetes Association, now part of LifeCare Alliance, partners with Camp Mohaven in Danville, Ohio to host Camp Hamwi each year. Because CODA doesn’t own the property, all of the camp equipment is stored at an off-site rental facility—at a constant expense! Thanks to your support, campers will have sports equipment, arts and crafts supplies, camping gear, and a storage pod that will eliminate the costs of storing and transporting equipment to camp each summer.
