William Heffner Scholarship and Advancement Endowment

Mr. Heffner is the 4th generation of it’s General Construction and Heavy Industrial development businesses that began in 1899 by his great grandfather. Thru the generations they have constructed brick streets, Interstate Highways, bridges, and one of the largest automotive and truck testing tracks in the United States, know as the Transportation Reasearch Center (TRC) in Logan County Ohio.

 

Producing Construction Aggregates for Asphalt and Concrete to Recycling Initatives have all been a part of their operations thru the ever changing construction and materials industry over the last 126 years of thier infrastructure and materials businesses.

 

There will always be a need for the industries that we have worked in since our beginning. Thus there are great career opportunities in our ever changing industries that require a more highly educated work force.

 

The purpose of Mr. Heffner's Scholarship and Advancement Endowment is to provide annual scholarships to positively affect current and future industry professionals.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates must attend or plan to attend a career, technology, or certification program.
  • Candidates must attend a post-secondary institution in Ohio.
  • Preference may be given to those entering Highway/Utility and Heavy Construction.

Minimum $1,000
