This fund is established in the memory of William Nicholas Childers, an outstanding student-athlete at Liberty Union High School in Baltimore, Ohio. It provides scholarship support for a graduating student-athlete from Liberty Union High School.

Longtime Logan residents Leon and Lillian Eichel established this fund to provide scholarships to Logan Senior High School graduates who are pursuing higher education at an accredited institution. The Eichels hoped to provide students with scholarships and wished to give consideration to “late bloomers” who didn’t recognize their academic capabilities until the final two years of school. Recipients are chosen on the basis of academic potential, academic achievement, character, financial need, school activities, and community services. Mr. Eichel died in November 1994, followed by Mrs. Eichel in July 1997.

The scholarship offers opportunities to student members and the relatives of members of the Water Management Association of Ohio (WMAO).

Mr. Howard E. Collins established this scholarship in memory of his wife, Eleanor Griffin Collins. Mrs. Collins was active for many years at Centenary United Methodist Church. Her service to the church included membership in the Wesleyan Service Guild, Love Circle and Sunday School. Mrs. Collins graduated from East High School and studied Business at Franklin University. She served as Street Captain for the Alum Crest Acres Association.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. There are more than 8,000 clubs worldwide, in 80+ countries. Kiwanis Club of Columbus was founded in 1916, and is the fifth oldest club. We are an engaging, vibrant group of volunteers involved in hands-on projects right here in downtown Columbus. Our Kiwanis Club encourages camaraderie and fellowship through weekly luncheon meetings, featuring world-class speakers tackling timely topics. In addition, the Kiwanis Club of Columbus provides a wide range of opportunities to volunteer time and talent to make a difference in our community.

The scholarship supports students from Shelby High School. Gordon and Betty Imhoff were both graduates of Shelby High School and wanted to support students from the school as they further their education.

The Hilltop Kiwanis Scholarship was established by Hilltop Kiwanis to assist young people in continuing education after high school.

The Scot A. Elwood Memorial Fund has been established in loving memory of Scot Alexander Elwood who graduated from New Albany High School in 2002 and was killed in a tragic accident during his sophomore year at Cornell University. Scot's family and friends hope to memorialize Scot through these scholarships, by promoting his ideal of combined athletic and academic excellence.

This fund was established to celebrate the life of Amanda Rush who tragically died on October 23, 2020. Amanda worked at White Castle for 14 years, working her way up to manager. This scholarship will support central Ohio restaurant employees or students going to school for restaurant management or hospitality.

The scholarship was created by Devin’s Mother, Denise Aumend. Despite her physical disability, Devin was always involved in her community through activities including 4-H, Girl Scouts, and church youth activities. Throughout her life, Devin overcame many challenges and obstacles due to her physical disability. This led her to become an independents and determined young lady, maintaining excellent grades throughout school, and earning the title of Valedictorian of her Highland High School class of 2003. Devin completed her Bachelor’s Degree with honors, and her Master’s degree with honors. The Devin Aumend Memorial Scholarship is her mother’s way of honoring Devin for many years to come.
