Arts and Culture Grants

Arts and culture grants support high-performing arts organizations that meet community needs and expand arts and cultural programming in Franklin County.

 

Arts and Culture grantmaking supports organizations with the primary mission and programmatic focus on the creation and presentation of performing, visual, and fine arts in Franklin County. Schools, colleges, universities, and organizations focused on arts education are not eligible. An initial award in the three-year cycle will be announced in 2026 for the grant period from July 2026 to June 2027. Annually, these grantees will be asked to submit brief updates before receiving possible payments for 2027 and 2028. Any arts organizations meeting the eligibility requirements below is eligible to apply for funding in 2026.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Primary impact in Franklin County.
  • 501(c)(3) public charity status from the Internal Revenue Service. (Note: Fiscal sponsors are not permitted.)
  • Primary focus on creation and presentation of performing, visual, and fine arts.

DEADLINE AND PROCESS

The application for the 2026 cycle is currently open. Please find the application here. The deadline for the application is February 5, 2026.
